In-Lecture Exercise F

 

This picture depicts a man crossing a road on a bright, sunny day. The 5 hues I identified are a series of different tints and shades of blue and green. 

I feel that the blue hues give off a sense of calm and relaxation that make one just want to sit back, relax and enjoy the day. On the other hand, the green hues remind one of nature and evoke a feeling of refreshment and peace.

Overall, the hues complement each other to give the picture a carefree vibe and a sense of lightheartedness. The emotions conveyed from the hues are apt for the picture as well, given that there are no vehicles on the road that could create an unnecessary "buzz" and contribute to a feeling of stress. The man is also just casually crossing the road on his own, seemingly going about his day without a care in the world.
